Story:
A woman begs Death for the life of her fiance, who died suddenly. She is given three impossible chances to save him, by living three different lives. It becomes obvious that Death cannot be cheated.
This is Alfred Hitchcock’s favourite movie, and it is also the first film that inspired the surrealist director Luis Buñuel to join the motion picture industry.
