Story:
Groucho is appointed to be the president of Freedonia; a small, bankrupt country on the brink of revolution. On top of this, the government of Sylvania (a neighbouring country) plans to overthrow Freedonia.
They send two clumsy secret agents, Chico and Harpo, to spy on Groucho.
Fueled by inspired silliness and blessed with some of the Marx brothers’ most brilliant work, Duck Soup is one of its — or any — era’s finest comedies.
