Story:
World-famous pianist, Orlac loses both his hands in a train accident, but his doctor is able to replace them with the hands of a freshly executed criminal. As Orlac finds out that his hands once belonged to a murderer, he loses control over them.
The film’s plot is based on the French fantasy horror novel of the same title, first published in 1920, written by the French writer Maurice Renard. Would you like to read the book?
