It Happened One Night (1934)

Story:
Ellie, the rebellious spoiled socialite, runs away from his controller father and plans to travel to New York in incognito, on a bus. Her father hires a detective agency to find her and also offers $10,000 reward for any information about her.
When Ellie gets robbed, Peter, a cynical reporter recognises her and offers her his help and protection. All he wants in exchange is her full story, and to get that, they should travel together. She has to accept the deal, otherwise Peter would blow the whistle on Ellie to her dad.
