Story:
After escaping from prison, the Tramp slips into a preacher’s clothes as a way of misleading his pursuers. His appearance is so convincing, that the town of Devil’s Gulch mistakes him for the new parson of the community.
In order to save his skin, he has to play the part of a preacher. He improvises a sermon about David and Goliath. While performing, he appears in front of a large group, thus runs the risk that someone will eventually recognise him.
