Story:
It is the story of a love triangle. Jack, the auto mechanic and the wealthy David are rivals for the love of the same girl, Sylvia. They both enlist as fighter pilots during the First World War, and they begin by treating each other as bitter enemies.
However, over time, as they have to fight together, they become the best of friends, but then a tragedy comes by.
Subsequent war epics may have borrowed heavily from the original Best Picture winner, but they’ve all lacked Clara Bow’s luminous screen presence and William Wellman’s deft direction.
